FURY 2014

Hello,

1st of all for my 1st post, thanks to creators and mods of this amazing website, found some incredibly good photos I've could only dream about to find in high resolution!

Is there anywhere a higher resolution of this photo from FURY: https://www.moviestillsdb.com/movies/fury-i2713180/wVRMRQ

Most photos with high res are 3000x2000 taken with Canon EOS 5D but this one is either cropped or that's the original one. It would be incredible if there was higher quality one.

Oh, thank you so much! I noticed new upload almost immediately and was surprised "What are the odds that higher resolution appeared just when I need it?!". :D I completely forgot about my request here.

The improvement looks great, can't wait to get download access (7 day limit).

So, is 2048x1365 the real original? Most of the photos are 3200x2000 taken with the above mentioned camera. This one seems like 2048x1365 is true original photo. Searched the whole internet for "the real original" but couldn't find it. Of course I could raise it drastically to insanely high resolution myself but the highest original is what's important to find and then modify.

But your improvement is great and thank you for that Andrew!

I doubt that the original photo has 2048x1365 pixels. Even cell phones were able to capture photos in higher resolution back in late 2013 (when principal photography of Fury took place). But we are talking about big movie production here, where professional photographers with high-end equipment are hired. Unfortunately, lots of material is not released publicly at all, or not in original quality.

What I've done was I searched for highest quality version publicly available and digitally enhanced it by hand and artificial intelligence.

The max resolution is 5760 × 3840. The photos for this movie were taken with Canon EOS 5D Mark III. I even found the person that took all photos. But he never made all photos public. I wonder why. It's 2014 movie and most of photos were never published in their original quality.

And all I would like is to have original photos for wallpaper personal use, that's it.

May I know how you enhance photos? By hand as you say with Photoshop possibly? And how by AI? I am looking for an AI image enhancement solution but can't find any I am sure it's the best.

I am not asking for full tutorial how you do it, I don't want to take much of your time. I would appreciate any external tutorial or suggestion for AI software you are using. Thanks!

I leave certain things to automatic processes and do something by hand, because AI is not progressed enough to recognize a defect from object detail. I use AI Image Enlarger (stays pretty down to earth, mainly creates sharp edges without halo artifacts) and Remini (reconstructs faces and hair, but can introduce unwanted artifacts like excessive eyes or unnatural facial hair) to process an image first, but I later curate which parts of such processed image will be in the final result by using a raster editor. I also use various filters built-in the editor, but most of them are destructive (loss of detail) and never increases detail the way AI does. Lots of selections are required, because each part of an image need a different treatment. I've heard that Photoshop made great progress regarding AI in recent versions, but I haven't tried it.
